︎︎︎ 75% of life is pretending
“Seventy-five percent of life is pretending.
I knew a man who reached one hundred percent."
Sailor, Norman Leto
The series was created in 2017-2018 and focuses on my personal experiences related to my brother's illness and his stay in a closed ward of a psychiatric hospital. The first of the photos were taken shortly before the disclosure of the disease, the others during his six-month treatment and after leaving the hospital – I treat them as a visual record of my emotions, which I couldn't name for a long time. Back then, my life was immersed in sadness, anger, helplessness and shame.
